I'm Allen Pepple — father, dog lover, Army veteran, and the guy behind every bag of Greybeard's Coffee.

My coffee journey started somewhere most people wouldn't expect: a deployment to Afghanistan in 2015. Between missions, I met someone who changed everything — a guy who taught me the art of coffee roasting. I came home with a new obsession and a mission to make something worth drinking.

The early days weren't pretty. I nearly burned my kitchen down more than once. But every failed roast taught me something, and I kept going. That stubbornness? Blame the Army.

Before that, I spent 13 years traveling the world — Germany, Romania, Paris, Austria, Afghanistan, Iraq. I tasted coffee everywhere I went, and I started to understand what made each cup different: the soil, the altitude, the hands that picked it. Every origin tells a story. Every bag I roast carries a little bit of that journey.

At Greybeard's, my goal is simple: fresh, single-origin coffee roasted to order, every time. No shortcuts. No sitting on shelves. Just damn good coffee.
